Dr Anna Cook

I am a Developmental Psychologist specialising in neurodiversity and in particular, the improvement of access to education for autistic children and young people.

I am honoured to hold the title of ‘Surrey Future Fellow’ in the School of Psychology at the University of Surrey.

Previous roles include Senior Research Fellow for the Centre for Teachers and Teaching Research at UCL Institute of Education and Teaching Fellow in Developmental Psychology at the University of Surrey.

My PhD thesis (completed 2019) investigated factors influencing vulnerability to peer rejection and bullying of autistic children and young people.

My current projects explore the influence of various factors on access to education for neurodivergent young people.
